Academic excellence
Sacred Heart College is deeply rooted in the Marist Charism, which emphasizes the holistic development of students ‑ nurturing not only their intellectual abilities but also their spiritual, social, and emotional development.
Through this commitment to educating the whole person, Sacred Heart College offers a broad and enriching curriculum that promotes intellectual curiosity, cultural awareness, and the physical and social development of emerging adults preparing them to be both good Christians and responsible citizens.
Through Years 7-10 our teaching and learning is informed by the Australian Curriculum (ACARA), with Religious Education being guided by the CESA Crossways Curriculum.
In Years 11-12 the curriculum is based on the requirements of the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE), with Stage 1 typically taken in Year 11 and Stage 2 typically being taken in Year 12.

We are delighted to report that our Year 12 students achieved outstanding results, both in the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) and with their Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR).
Learning and achievement continues to be promoted as a top priority in the College. We are confident that our graduating students are well equipped as independent learners and well-rounded young adults to take on the challenges that exist beyond Sacred Heart in the years ahead.
