128 years of History
Sacred Heart College has a proud history rooted in the Marist tradition, established to provide a faith-based education grounded in values of service, community and excellence. From humble beginnings, the College has grown and evolved while remaining true to its founding mission of nurturing young people to lead with courage, compassion and integrity.
Marist Mission
Our mission is to enable today’s students to become the leaders of tomorrow, guided by the values of a Catholic College in the Marist tradition. Rooted in the five Marist Characteristics, we strive to form young people as good Christians and good citizens who lead with faith, purpose and integrity.
College Bursaries
As a Marist school, Sacred Heart College is committed to fostering and promoting academic achievement, as well as assisting families who are financially challenged.
Governance
Sacred Heart College is governed by Marist Schools Australia and supported by the South Australian Commission for Catholic Schools, working in partnership with the wider Catholic education community. The College Council, assisted by specialist finance and building committees, supports the Principal in areas of governance, planning and stewardship to ensure the College’s continued growth and sustainability.
