Old Collegians
Founded in 1907, the Sacred Heart Old Collegians Association (SHOC) exists to celebrate lifelong connections, uniting Hearts past and present through community, friendship, and Marist values.
What began as a gathering of old scholars at Largs Bay has grown into a vibrant, intergenerational network of more than 20,000 old collegians across Australia and the world.
While you only officially become a SHOC after leaving Sacred Heart, life as a SHOC begins long before graduation. It grows from the friendships, values, and experiences formed during your time at the College, continuing well into life beyond the classroom.
SHOC is a welcoming, supportive, and caring community for all, not exclusive to those who attended Sacred Heart. It embraces family, friends, and the extended Hearts network, united by shared memories, genuine connection, and Marist spirit.
Whether you graduated yesterday or decades ago, you’re a SHOC for life, part of a very special community that continues to thrive more than a century later.
SHOC exists to preserve the bonds formed at school and to carry forward the values that have always defined the Hearts community.
We care for one another, support each other’s journeys, and celebrate the people, places, and stories that make Sacred Heart so special.
